Few more days
I just got word that my offer letter went out today. The administrator rather drolly explained to me that they have a nifty-neato software system that’s supposed to make everything shiny and easy, but doesn’t. Yay software!
And yay software for taking forever to admit that yes, I did just earn a degree. It has not, in fact, managed to admit that yet, which means that the official transcript I need to send to Perdóndaris will be delayed until the software gets a clue. If this causes me (or Perdóndaris, for that matter) the slightest bit of hassle, I will simply have to hurt a mainframe somewhere. Grrrr.
But for the most part, everything seems to be proceeding smoothly.
