Domestic occurrences

CavLec went down for a bit owing to the power outage in Los Angeles. I sincerely doubt any email was lost, but just in case, consider re-sending it.

Dream went to the vet today, because he just hasn’t stopped limping. Vet couldn’t find anything obviously wrong, so sent him home. I’m okay with that; I just wanted to make sure nothing was obviously wrong, you know what I’m saying?

My aches and pains have diminished to an acceptable level. It’s good to have greater control over them than I used to. My left hand is rather stiff, which is odd but can be lived with.

Oh, and Nichole kindly let me know that my new job merited a line of print (print! on paper! glossy paper!) in the latest American Libraries, page 73. (Either my ALA membership has run out, or the Post Orifice isn’t forwarding, because I haven’t got a copy.) So just in case anyone thought I was saying the thing-that-is-not, now there’s documentary proof.

Because we believe everything we see in print, yes we do… Kidding. Kidding.

The new design for MPOW’s repository rolls out tomorrow, along with a software upgrade; would have been today if not for a sudden meeting. I am, shall we say, SLIGHTLY NERVOUS about this. YES. MORE THAN SLIGHTLY NERVOUS. It should all go well. But lots of things should that don’t.
