Behind the scenes, we’ve had the usual round of technical glitches; I’ve been on the anti-spam trail, while Karen has been all over the video encoding. All in all, though, it’s been remarkably smooth, considering that this is my first time messing with Drupal!
(Drupal’s admin screens? Need an enormous UI overhaul for usability. They are pure unadulterated usability disaster. Other than that, I am lovin’ the Drupal.)
I’m glad we did this. It’s going well, accomplishing what we wanted it to, and teaching me at least a great deal about how to do distance education well. More updates as events warrant—but I can’t imagine myself regretting this once it’s over.
